architecture, interiors, environments — designed.
dbdbdb is the interdisciplinary design practice of Toronto based architect, Dan Briker. The practice is conceived as a platform for collaboration with clients, other creative professionals, artisans, and builders, to deliver thoughtful building projects. The practice prioritizes assisting clients in assembling the right team for each individual project to execute a clear vision, from the broad stroke ideas to the fine grain details. This is rooted in the belief that successful design projects, regardless of scale, scope, or type, require strong design leadership and a collaborative process. dbdbdb is registered with the Ontario Association of Architects.
Dan Briker (BA, MArch, OAA) has experience working across various building types and scales, including residential, institutional, adaptive reuse, non-profit, and commercial interior projects. Before establishing dbdbdb in 2015, Dan worked at the offices of LGA Architectural Partners, Bruce Mau Design, and Pylon Design. He is a core lecturer at the John H. Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape and Design at the University of Toronto, and is a thesis adviser at OCADU.
